Commercial Insurance Account Manager

What You’ll Do
- Manage and service a Commercial Lines book of business with professionalism and accuracy.
- Review coverage needs for new and existing clients and recommend appropriate options.
- Prepare quotes, proposals, renewals, and policy changes using carrier systems.
- Communicate with clients by phone and email to answer questions, explain coverage, and provide guidance.
- Collaborate with underwriters, carriers, and internal team members to resolve issues and complete requests.
- Ensure compliance with state regulations and documentation standards.
- Build long?term relationships that support retention and growth goals.
What We’re Looking For
- Active NYS Property & Casualty license (required).
- Experience in Commercial Lines account management, underwriting support, or agency operations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for professional client interaction.
- Solid computer skills and comfort working in digital systems and carrier portals.
- Ability to prioritize, stay organized, and manage multiple tasks independently.
- A dependable team player with a client?first mindset and a focus on accuracy.

- Help clients understand their insurance needs in a clear, friendly way.
- Answer questions by phone, email, and in person.
- Prepare accurate notes and follow?up communication.
- Use computer systems to complete policy updates and changes.
- Work with teammates to ensure clients receive consistent, reliable support.
- Learn insurance rules and workflows through our structured training program.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience helping clients in a professional or office setting.
- Good computer and typing skills; comfortable learning new programs.
- Strong writing and communication abilities.
- Someone organized, dependable, and ready to learn.
- Interest in building a long?term career in insurance.
- Insurance license is not required to start — we provide training.
